This session will provide health center risk management leaders with an overview of Federal and State regulatory requirements, the responsibilities of health center staff, the board, and committees, and a discussion of recent regulatory issues around risk management programs and policies.
Attendees will:
- Identify the key components of a health center risk management program
- Understand the health center board and committee's roles in risk management oversight
- Learn key Federal (including FTCA) and State regulatory requirements for risk management programs, including with respect to patient safety, data privacy, and fraud and abuse prevention
- Develop strategies for identifying gaps in existing programs, training staff, and incorporating practices into daily operations.
- Learn about key recent regulatory changes impacting your risk management programs
