Solution Focused Therapy part 3: Empowerment through exceptions and scaling
The presenter is Susan Lee Tohn, MSW, LICSW.
This training will take place on Thursday, February 9th, from 1pm to 3pm. Please arrive on time if possible.
Attendees who are present for the entire training and complete a post-training survey are eligible for 2 hours of CEUs. (CEUs: If you require a certificate for CEUs, you must attend the live session and complete the post-survey evaluation. We are only able to offer 2 CEUs for Social Workers for this workshop at this time. )
This training is open to behavioral health staff, interns and trainees at Massachusetts Community Health Centers.
The Learning Objectives of this session are:
1-Participants will be able to explain the assumptions and philosophy of Solution Focused Therapy.
2- Participants will be able to describe the Solution Focused paradigm for developing rapport with patients.
3-Participants will be able to explain the three different goal-dependent relationships and when to use active vs. passive language
