Perinatal Data Learning Collaborative Series Session 2: Tracking What Counts

Please join the Institue for Health Equity Research, Evaluation, and Policy on August 20, 2025, at 1pm for the Perinatal Data Learning Collaborative Series Session 2 | Tracking What Counts: Perinatal Data Equity in Action at NeighborHealth. Lean how tracking perinatal data can assist with managing and ensuring perinatal health equity. The presentation will include information about an example process for tracking and building data visualizations for maternal health equity data.

Dr. Christin Price, MD, Administrative Director of the Perinatal-Neonatal Quality Improvement Network (PNQIN), the statewide perinatal quality collaborative for Massachusetts, will present on the importance of maternal health data and health promotion priorities at PNQIN. She will address how PNQIN came about and how every ste has a required perinatal neonatal quality improvement plan. Dr. Price’s presentation aims to provide an overview of PNQN’s history and perinatal initiatives and identify opportunities for collaboration and engagement between PNQIN and Massachusetts CHCs.

During the webinar, we will also have a presentation by Dr. Sue Ghosh, MD, MPH, Director of Women’s Health Initiatives at NeighborHealth. In her presentation, Dr. Ghosh will explore how NeighborHealth is putting perinatal health data into action to advance health equity.  

In closing, we will hear from Mimi Gardner, LICSW, MPH, Chief Equity Officer at NeighborHealth, and Susan Dargon-Hart, LICSW, Senior Vice President of Clinical Health Affairs at the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers. They will highlight an innovative maternal health collaborative and share upcoming maternal health training and technical assistance opportunities being led by the League.

This event is the second of three webinars in this 2025 series. The first webinar, “Perinatal Data Learning Collaborative Series Session 1: Population Health Approaches” took place on April 16, 2025. Keynote

Christin Price, MD

Christin Price, MD, is an administrative physician leader with over 10 years experience driving strategy and implementation of care management and community and public health programs focused on improving healthcare quality, decreasing costs, and achieving health equity.  She has extensive experience with accountable care organizations, substance use disorders, population health management and community health initiatives. Christin earned her medical degree from Weill Medical College of Cornell University.  She completed her internship and residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital as well as an Infectious Disease fellowship. 

Currently, Dr. Price is the Administrative Director for the Perinatal-Neonatal Quality Improvement Network (PNQIN) of Massachusetts which sits within the Bureau of Family Health and Nutrition at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health.

Mimi Gardner, MPH, LICSW

Mimi Gardner, MPH, LICSW is the Vice President and Chief Equity Officer of NeighborHealth (NH) in East Boston, MA. Ms. Gardner is responsible for engaging and partnering with agencies and leaders in our communities and throughout the Commonwealth to develop and drive a health-informed community equity agenda.  

In this role, Ms. Gardner leverages NH’s role as a leading health care provider to facilitate collaboration amongst NH and multiple health and human service agencies, ensuring that the health center integrates community feedback into its strategic response to systemic and prevailing health equity gaps in our neighborhoods.

Susan Dargon-Hart, LICSW

Susan Dargon-Hart, LICSW is Senior Vice President, Clinical Health Affairs, at the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers. Ms. Dargon-Hart has been deeply committed to addressing health inequities, social determinants of health, and promoting health education and empowerment of individuals, families and communities across Massachusetts. She brings extensive experience in community-based program leadership, collaborations, program development and oversight, project workflow and process changes, and project evaluation activities. Ms. Dargon-Hart is responsible for providing leadership in areas of clinical services, public health management and quality improvement for the Mass League and MA Community Health Centers.

Sue Ghosh, MD, MPH

Sue Ghosh, MD, MPH, joined NeighborHealth in 2018 and currently serves as the Director of Women’s Health Initiatives and a practicing gynecologist. She is board certified in OB/GYN and gynecologic oncology. NeighborHealth is the largest federally qualified health center in Massachusetts, and Dr. Ghosh leads cross-departmental efforts to improve workflows, clinical quality, and standards of care in women’s health. Her areas of expertise include complex gynecology, cancer screening, and systems-based approaches to maternal health. She is passionate about advancing equitable, patient-centered care for diverse communities.
