Please join us on Wednesday, March 6th 2024 at 12pm for the Colorectal Cancer Screening in Vulnerable Populations webinar to commemorate Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. We will be joined by Peter Nowd, MD, MHA, from Exact Sciences and he will review the National and local Colorectal Cancer (CRC) screening rates, discuss CRC epidemiology and screening adherence, identify the barriers to and facilitators of CRC screening for vulnerable populations, and share a real-world case study to improve CRC screening in Hispanic men.

 

Presenters: Peter Nowd, MD, MHA, is the Northeast Medical Science Liaison at Exact Sciences. Prior to joining Exact Sciences, Peter was the East Coast Medical Affairs Manager for Boston Scientific’s Cardiology division. Before entering the industry, Peter was a Translational Cancer Research Associate at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston and at the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington, MA. Peter’s research focused on the study of molecular markers for early detection of lung & genitourinary cancers.
