Please join us on Friday, April 26th from 9:00-10:30 for this interactive learning session!
Topic & Featured Speakers: This interactive learning session will focus on best practices when providing contraceptive care to migrant and refugee patients. The session will feature a presentation from Dr. Par Royer, an OBGYN and complex family planning specialist working in community health, large managed care and University settings Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. Royer has over 20 years of experience working in migrant and refugee women’s health. The session will begin with an update from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health on the newly arriving families in the state and will conclude with a brief presentation from Lowell Community Health Center.
Suggested Participants: Initiative champion, any member of the care team that may work with immigrant or refugee patients. This learning session is open to all health center staff, regardless of Upstream partnership.
