The Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers will hold its annual Community Health Institute (CHI) May 5–7, 2026, at Margaritaville Resort Cape Cod in Hyannis.

This year’s theme,"Persevering Through Change, Powering Innovation, Creating Impact—reflects our shared commitment to delivering high-quality care in an evolving healthcare landscape." In recognition of your support, your organization will receive the benefits outlined below. The conference will include updates on key state & national health policy issues from elected officials and Mass League staff.

Pre-Conference Opportunities – Monday, May 4

Artificial Intelligence and Community Health Centers: Use Cases, Compliance Issues, Risk Mitigation Strategies, and Other Key Considerations.

Equip your leadership team with essential skills to navigate regulatory, data privacy, staff training, & operational considerations related to Artificial Intelligence. As Health Centers adopt AI to automate administrative tasks & augment staff capacity, responsible & compliant implementation is critical. This interactive session will explore governance structures, policies, & safeguards to support the CHC workforce. 

AI Strategy to Implementation Playbook
3:30 PM – 4:30 PM 

This free interactive pre-conference session provides CHC leaders with a walkthrough of the Mass League’s Strategy to Implementation AI Playbook. Grounded in real CHC needs, we explore how to integrate artificial intelligence into the Community Health Center care model without sacrificing human connection. The AI Playbook offers a strategic roadmap, from workforce readiness to building a system that is technologically advanced, operationally sustainable, & rooted in inclusive care.

Health Center Board Boot Camp-(CEUs)
4:00 PM – 5:30 Hors d’oeuvres and dinner
5:30 PM – 7:30 PM 

Covers key health center board responsibilities, with practical tips to improve effectiveness & avoid compliance risks. Includes updates on program changes, grant requirements, HRSA site visits, audits, & preparing for federal policy changes.

Target Audience: Board members, CEOs, & board support staff
