Description: During this event the BIPOC ERG will be visiting the Harriet Hayden Albums exhibit located in the Boston Athenaeum Library. Harriet Hayden was an anti-slavery activist who ran a vital stop on the Underground Railroad which was located in Beacon Hill. This exhibit focuses on Harriet Hayden's carte-de-visite portrait photograph albums which highlight Boston's history of Black abolitionists and Black activism. After the visit we encourage you to join us for food and discussion about the exhibit.
