Racial Equity Training for CRCS Learning Collaborative cohort. The topics covered include:
- Building a Container for Racial Justice:
A. Desired Outcome: Participants will have stronger relationships with each other and have practiced new group norms that challenge White Supremacy Culture. - Common definitions
A. Desired Outcome: Participants will have shared definitions of common racial justice terminology
B. Desired Outcome: Participants will have a shared understanding of the impact and power of language. - Data/Groundwater Analysis
A. Desired Outcome: Participants will have shared understanding of public health frameworks that encourage the analysis of data with a racial justice lens.
B. Desired Outcome: Participants will explore, discuss, and challenge commonly used public health data sets using data from the Racial Equity Institute. - Reframing/Practice
A. Desired Outcome: Participants will be able to apply “racial justice frames” to public health topics.
