We invite you to a webinar with Dr. Margarita Alegria from the Disparities Research Unit at MGH, to discuss a new research project, “Building Connections between Practices, Patients, and Community Health.” The MGH team is collaborating with the Mass League of Community Health Centers to develop partnerships aimed at addressing health and healthcare inequities in socially vulnerable communities. Funding will be available for health centers over a 1.5-year time frame to take part in capacity-building and reciprocal coaching for delivering specific evidence-based clinical programs in obesity (healthy weight management), cancer prevention, and mental health. The webinar will provide an overview of the project, timeline, interventions, planned patient enrollment, and partnership activities.
