Conversations about Forensic Documentation

Description:

Providers may wonder how their documentation is used if an adverse outcome occurs or if care is later questioned. In this conversational session, a local attorney and a nurse expert witness will discuss how clinical records are viewed in court, what documentation may show about the care provided, and how records can affect questions of provider liability. We’ll address common concerns and questions, including those shared by attendees in a short pre-session survey.
